Roles and their descriptions are listed below. We encourage you to read through each role and see how much fun they all will be!

Roles: All Ages

Snowman Sam: The narrator of the story. Vocal demands: Strong Soloist. Gender: Male

Dasher: Part of Santa's sleigh team. Dance role. Gender: Any

Dancer: Part of Santa's sleigh team. Dance role. Gender: Any

Prancer: Part of Santa's sleigh team. Dance role. Gender: Any

Vixen: Part of Santa's sleigh team. Dance role. Rudolph's mother. Gender: Female

Comet: Clarice's father. Part of Santa's sleigh team. Gender: Male

Cupid: Clarice's mother. Part of Santa's sleigh team. Dance role. Gender: Female

Donner: Santa's lead reindeer Rudolph's father. Gender: Male

BLitzen: Part of Santa's sleigh team. Dance role. Gender: Any

Baby Rudolph: Young child. Gender: Any

Young Rudolph: The protagonist of the story. Sensitive, yet strong reindeer. Soloist. Dance: Mild. Gender: Male

Young Clarice: Rudolph's love interest. She is able to see past Rudolph's abnormality and is the first person to accept him for who he is. Strong soloist. Gender: Female

Young Fireball: Rudolph's first friend. Is thrown off by Rudolph's nose, but soon realizes that he was wrong and learns from that. Gender: Male

Reindeer: Santa's reindeer. Dance, Mild to moderate.

Santa Claus: Soloist. 

Mrs. Claus: Warm, loving wife and is motherly towards the elves.

Young Hermey the Elf: Supporting protagonist. Wants to be a dentist and pursues that dream in the face of adversity. Soloist. Gender: Male

Hermey the Elf: Supporting protagonist. Wants to be a dentist and pursues that dream in the face of adversity. Soloist. Gender: Male

Young Holly the Elf: Business-minded elf, connects with Hermey through being a fellow misfit. Wanting to run a business rather than make toys. Gender: Female

Holly the Elf: Business-minded elf, connects with Hermey through being a fellow misfit. Wanting to run a business rather than make toys. Gender: Female

Conductor Elf: Leads the elves in song and follows the Lead Elf. A Strong personality will fit this role. Gender: Any

Lead Elf: Refuses to understand why any elf would want to do anything but make toys. A strong personality will fit this role. Gender: Any

Abominable Snow Monster: Speaks only in grunts and roars. A very physical role that includes several fight scenes.

Yukon Cornelius: Soloist. Prospector in search of silver and gold, and ultimately peppermint. A very physical role that includes several fight scenes.

Sled Dogs: Yukon Cornelius's sled dogs. They are fearless when facing the Abominable Snow Monster.

King Moonracer: The caring guardian of the Island of Misfit Toys. Strong soloist. 

Charlie in the Box: Misfit toy.

Spotted Elephant: Misfit toy. 

Dolly for Sue: Misfit toy. Strong soloist.

Train with Square Wheels: Misfit toy. 

Cowboy who rides and Ostrich: Misfit toy. 

Bird who Swims: Misfit Toy

Water Pistol who shoots Jelly: Misfit toy

Boat Who Can't Stay Afloat: Misfit toy

Santa's Elves: They love to sing and make toys.  Gender: Any

Penguins: The penguins who live in Christmas Town. Young children.

Snow Flakes: Dance roles suited to young children.
